Before I became a CME writer, I spent 14 years in nursing, with clinical experience across medical-surgical nursing, neonatal intensive care, oncology, and clinical trials. People counted on me every day to think clearly, act quickly, and keep the bigger picture in view.
That same steadiness shapes the way I approach CME writing today.
No matter what I’m developing, I bring a clinical lens, strong research instincts, and a deep respect for the people on both sides of the education: the healthcare professionals learning from it and the patients who will ultimately benefit.

When I’m not at the computer, I’m practicing endurance in a completely different way: as a half-marathon runner. I’m also a mom, an avid reader, and a lover of musical theater – on and off of the stage. And of course, I’m one half of the brain my husband and I share.
I love to learn, I love to help others learn, and I bring that same curiosity into every project I take on.
From Bedside Care to CME
If you had told me when I was training to become a nurse that I had a future as a writer, I probably wouldn’t have believed you.
I went into nursing because I wanted to help people. Years later, that same desire led me to write my first CE course for fellow nurses.
That project helped me see education differently. CME was not just content to be completed for credit. At its best, it was a way to help clinicians make sense of evolving evidence, strengthen their practice, and bring better care back to their patients.
Today, I get to support that work from behind the keyboard.
